Senior Paid Marketing Executive
Our Team
The Paid Marketing Department is responsible for running all campaign activity across our suite of 30+ marketing partners including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Taboola, Tiktok, Outbrain and more. We also have a Marketing Innovation Team that’s focused on enhancing our creative superpowers by ensuring and facilitating creative excellence across the Paid Marketing department.

The Role
You will begin with our 12 week Native Advertising academy designed to equip you with the skills needed to excel in the role: the fundamentals, campaign set-up, creative best practice, targeting, bidding, optimisation and scaling (and much more!), with regular knowledge check-ins along the way to cement your learning and gather feedback on your progress. You’ll meet different members of the Native team for each of your sessions, ensuring you get up-to-speed and meet the team you’ll be working with at the same time!
We believe doing is the best way of learning, so you’ll get hands-on experience managing campaigns from the very beginning.
Day-to-day, you will design, create and manage high-performance ad campaigns across our core Native channels (including: Taboola, Outbrain, Mediago, and the Microsoft Audience Network) for the B2C RoW division. You’ll be responsible for achieving campaign targets and working alongside the Marketing and Commercial Strategy team to set strategy for your portfolio.
As someone with prior paid marketing experience, you’ll build upon your analytical skills as well as fine-tune your eye for turning insight into commercial action. We have a strong culture of creativity, too: you’ll be able (and encouraged!) to try out almost any creative idea you can think of. We also have our own in-house creative services department, to support in bringing your more complex ideas to fruition.
Working alongside MVF’s world-class Native Advertising team of Executives, Managers and Specialists, you’ll gain incredible insights into campaign execution, strategy and emerging trends, taking your campaign management skills to the next level.
Responsibilities:
Campaign management: Running Native Advertising campaigns; building successful marketing campaigns from scratch, including engaging ad copy or creative, relevant audience targeting and long-form copy writing on advertorials.
Strong analytical & numerical skills: Using a variety of data sources to analyze ad performance data, e.g Click Through Rate, Conversion Rate, and how they impact revenue and profit. As well as communicating Native metric performance to non-specialist stakeholders.
Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with other MVF teams, keeping them up to date with campaign performance and any issues or opportunities you or your team have encountered.
Commercial awareness: Demonstrating a deep knowledge of the commercial factors behind the marketing, and being comfortable explaining to others what impact these factors have on performance.
Producing killer marketing content: Producing marketing creative, copy and other content to tight deadlines, whilst thinking outside-of-the-box to come up with the next big creative win.
Experimentation: Designing A/B experiments (using Optimizely) to improve our advertorial pages’ performance and drive client results.
Problem solving: Showing a creative and proactive approach to problem solving, and being able to explain your logic to different stakeholders.
Ambition and drive: Demonstrating a strong desire to drive to be world class -- through setting and achieving ambitious targets, and taking opportunities to learn more about technical aspects of the role.
Technical knowledge: Proving a thorough understanding of our marketing platforms, both theoretical (how the platform/auction works) and practically (how to do more complex tasks).
Team work: Working alongside other executives and specialists to test new platform features, share creative ideas, and work together to solve complex campaign problems.
What Success Looks Like:
You’ll make a stellar contribution towards the company vision, commercial goals and client success metrics
You will deliver consistently against the responsibilities above within the Native Advertising team & B2C RoW division
You will take the initiative and look for new opportunities to grow your campaign portfolio beyond what is asked
You will receive glowing feedback from key commercial stakeholders within your division
You'll independently prioritise your day-to-day workflow, based on commercial & business needs, regularly sharing wins & constantly working collaboratively to solve challenging campaign issues
